Electrical project process
A clear route from first discussion to tested, documented handover.
Every project has its own details, but this is the practical framework B2E uses for domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work.
B2E Electrical & Renewables Ltd
Qualifying parts and labour supplied by B2E are covered by a two-year warranty. Specific scope and warranty details are confirmed before work is agreed.
Step 1
Initial enquiry or consultation
We start by understanding the work required, the reason for the project, the property or site type and any important timing, access or safety considerations.
Step 2
Site assessment
Where required, we assess the existing electrical installation, access routes, distribution equipment, earthing arrangements, cable routes and practical site conditions.
Step 3
Scope and quotation
The proposed scope is set out clearly before work begins, including known assumptions, supplied equipment and exclusions such as decoration or building work unless expressly included.
Step 4
Planning and coordination
We agree access, dates, isolations, preparation and coordination with customers, trades, landlords, facilities teams or site contacts as appropriate.
Step 5
Installation
The installation is completed using suitable materials and methods for the property, premises, environment and intended electrical load.
Step 6
Inspection and testing
New or altered electrical work is inspected and tested where required before energisation, completion or handover.
Step 7
Certification and handover
Appropriate documentation is provided for the agreed electrical work, with key circuit, equipment and operating information explained where needed.
