EV Charger Installation & Services
Home, workplace, fleet, repair, relocation and replacement EV charger services.
B2E Electrical & Renewables Ltd installs and services EV charging equipment for homes, businesses and operational sites where the existing electrical installation can support the agreed design.
A charge point is a significant electrical load. Before installation or replacement, the supply, consumer unit or distribution board, earthing arrangement, cable route, parking position, load management and charger requirements need to be understood.
This hub separates first-time home chargers, workplace charging, fleet installations, repairs, relocation and upgrades so the right route can be scoped clearly.

EV charging experience
B2E is a family-run SELECT member based in Rosyth, with electrical industry experience beginning in 2011 and business operations established in 2016.
EV charging work is considered alongside the fixed electrical installation, including consumer units, distribution boards, external routes, protective devices, earthing, load management and testing.
Where charger apps, payment features, manufacturer platforms, vehicle software or network supply upgrades are outside the electrical scope, those boundaries are explained before work is agreed.

Choose the right route for your project.
These pathways keep sector-specific information on the hub page while the detailed service pages remain the canonical service routes.
Home EV charging
Home chargers are planned around parking, the consumer unit, load management, cable routes and future solar or battery plans where compatible.
- Driveways
- Garages
- Private parking
- Home electrical capacity
- Load management
- Solar and battery integration
Workplace EV charging
Commercial charging can support staff, visitors, customers, tenants and business vehicle use where access and capacity allow.
- Employee charging
- Visitor charging
- Customer parking
- Commercial landlords
- Single chargers
- Multiple chargers
Fleet EV charging
Fleet charging needs assessment of vehicle numbers, mileage, charging windows, three-phase distribution and future expansion.
- Company vehicles
- Vans
- Depots
- Operational premises
- Several vehicles
- Three-phase requirements
Choose the correct EV service
The right EV route depends on whether you are installing a first charger, adding workplace provision, planning for several vehicles, repairing a fault, replacing unsupported equipment or moving home with an existing charger.
New installation
First-time chargers need a full look at supply capacity, parking, route, earthing, protection, load management and commissioning.
Repairs and replacement
Faulty or ageing chargers need diagnosis before deciding whether repair, manufacturer support or replacement is more practical.
Solar and battery integration
Some chargers can interact with renewable systems, but compatibility depends on the equipment and settings rather than the service name alone.
Why choose B2E for EV charging?
EV charging is electrical installation work first, so the fixed wiring and site capacity need proper assessment.
Supply assessment
The existing consumer unit, distribution board, capacity and earthing arrangement are reviewed where relevant.
SELECT member
SELECT membership supports professional standards, technical awareness and continued development.
Domestic to fleet capability
B2E can discuss home chargers, business parking, industrial premises and multi-charger planning.
Renewables awareness
Solar PV and battery storage compatibility can be discussed where the selected equipment supports it.
Testing and handover
Electrical work is inspected, tested and documented where required before handover.
Careful claims
Grant, OZEV, manufacturer, payment-platform and charger-network claims are not made unless verified for the project.
EV charger installation overview
Step 1
Initial enquiry
We confirm whether the work is a new charger, workplace installation, fleet plan, repair, relocation or upgrade.
Step 2
Site assessment
Parking, cable route, equipment position, consumer unit or distribution board and supply capacity are reviewed.
Step 3
Design considerations
Earthing, protection, isolation, load management and charger requirements are checked against the site.
Step 4
Quotation
The scope identifies the agreed electrical work, equipment assumptions and known exclusions.
Step 5
Installation
The charger circuit, cable route, equipment and protection are installed as agreed.
Step 6
Testing
The installation is inspected and tested before commissioning and handover.
Step 7
Commissioning
Commissioning and app setup are completed where included and supported by the selected equipment.
Step 8
Documentation
Relevant certification, customer information and limitations are provided for the work within scope.
Completed EV charging projects
Approved public Gallery records are selected where EV charging metadata exists. If there are no current public EV matches, the page keeps a restrained empty state rather than showing unrelated work.
Solar PV and Battery Storage

EV charging questions
Do I need a dedicated EV charger?
For regular charging, a dedicated charge point is normally the practical route because it is designed for sustained vehicle charging and suitable protection.
Does the consumer unit need upgraded?
Not always, but it must be assessed before installation. Capacity, protection, labelling and circuit condition can affect the design.
What is load management?
Load management helps control charging demand so the charger works within the available electrical capacity of the property or site.
Can a charger work with solar PV?
Some chargers can use solar-compatible features, but this depends on the charger, inverter, battery system and settings.
Can I take my charger when I move?
Sometimes, but it must be safely removed and the new property reassessed. The old cable or protective equipment may not be suitable for reuse.
Will a higher-rated charger always charge faster?
No. Charging speed can be limited by the vehicle onboard charger, supply, circuit design, cable, settings and site demand.
