Renewable Energy Solutions
Solar PV, battery storage and renewable electrical work planned around the whole installation.
B2E Electrical & Renewables Ltd supports renewable-energy projects across homes, businesses and operational premises, with the electrical installation assessed as part of the system rather than treated as an afterthought.
Solar PV, battery storage, inverters, EV charging, consumer units and distribution equipment all interact with the fixed wiring. A careful assessment helps identify where equipment can connect, what protection is required and what responsibilities may need coordination with equipment, roofing or network specialists.
The pages below separate new solar installations, battery storage, retrofits, repairs, inspection work and inverter upgrades so customers can find the route that matches their project without relying on vague renewable-energy summaries.

Renewable electrical experience
B2E is a family-run electrical contractor established in 2016, with electrical industry experience beginning in 2011.
Our renewable-energy work is approached from the electrical side: consumer units, distribution boards, isolation, cabling, earthing, protection, testing, certification and integration with existing fixed installations.
Where a project also needs roof condition checks, structural assessment, scaffolding, specialist equipment commissioning, export arrangements or network applications, those responsibilities are identified clearly before work is agreed.

How renewable systems work together
Solar PV panels generate DC electricity, an inverter converts it for use by the property, and the fixed electrical installation distributes that energy safely alongside normal grid import. Battery storage can charge from suitable generation or supported grid arrangements, and EV chargers can sometimes coordinate with solar or batteries when the selected equipment allows it.
Generation and conversion
Panels, strings, inverters, AC connections and isolation are reviewed as part of the electrical design.
Storage and demand
Battery charging, discharging and location depend on equipment capability, property demand, protection and manufacturer requirements.
Grid and EV compatibility
Import, export, notification, load management and EV charging compatibility must be confirmed for the actual equipment and site.
Why choose B2E for renewable electrical work?
Renewable projects benefit from careful assessment of the existing electrical installation before equipment is connected or upgraded.
Electrical-first planning
Consumer units, distribution boards, earthing, protection, isolation and routes are assessed before work is committed.
SELECT member
SELECT membership supports professional standards, technical awareness and continued development.
Testing and certification
New or altered electrical work is inspected, tested and documented where certification is required.
Domestic to industrial scope
B2E can discuss renewable electrical work across homes, business premises and operational sites.
Clear boundaries
Unverified MCS, export, structural, grant and manufacturer-approval claims are deliberately avoided.
Two-year warranty
Qualifying parts and labour supplied by B2E are covered by a two-year warranty, subject to the agreed scope.
Renewable project process
Step 1
Initial discussion
We confirm the property, equipment being considered and whether the enquiry is a new installation, retrofit, repair or upgrade.
Step 2
Site and electrical assessment
The existing supply, consumer unit or distribution equipment, routes, earthing, protection and access are reviewed where required.
Step 3
System requirements
Equipment information, manufacturer requirements, location, isolation and integration points are checked.
Step 4
Quotation and scope
A written scope identifies what B2E is supplying and what may depend on other specialists or approvals.
Step 5
Coordination
Roofing, scaffolding, network, equipment supply or commissioning responsibilities are agreed where relevant.
Step 6
Electrical installation
Cabling, isolation, protection and connections are installed to the agreed design.
Step 7
Inspection and testing
The electrical work is inspected, tested and documented before handover where required.
Step 8
Handover
Operating information, certificates and known limitations are explained for the work within scope.
Completed renewable projects
Approved public Gallery records for renewables are selected from Supabase using the renewables Gallery sector and service metadata such as solar PV, battery storage, inverter, testing and completed-work labels.

Renewable energy questions
Can solar panels and batteries be installed together?
Yes, where the equipment, electrical installation, space and design are suitable. The system needs assessed as a whole rather than assumed compatible.
Can a battery be added to an existing system?
Often, but the existing inverter, protection, documentation, cable routes and equipment condition need reviewed before a retrofit is agreed.
Will every battery provide backup power?
No. Backup operation depends on the selected battery, inverter, installation design and circuits included in the backup arrangement.
Can solar or batteries work with an EV charger?
They can be planned together, but compatibility depends on the charger, inverter, battery system, settings and property electrical demand.
Does the existing consumer unit need assessed?
Yes. Renewable equipment can affect protection, routes, earthing, labelling, isolation and available capacity.
Will the roof require separate assessment?
Roof condition, structure, mounting and access may need input from suitable roofing or structural specialists where they are outside B2E's electrical scope.
